Quick Install

  1. Open your accounting software (QuickBooks or Peachtree) and company file.
  2. Double click on the CPSetup.exe file that you downloaded with your purchase. CPSetup will guide you through the install process including the installation of accompanying software such as Microsoft .NET 2.0 and the QuickBooks Redistributable (QuickBooks users only).
  3. After installation, start CollectPro by clicking on the CollectPro icon on your desktop or in the Start menu.
  4. When you first run the software, you will be prompted through the Setup Wizard. Follow the following steps for your financial software to allow CollectPro to sync up with it.

QuickBooks

* For QuickBooks users an “Application Certificate” box will open, please click on “Yes, always allow access, even when QuickBooks is not running.” then Continue. You do not need to check the box asking about accessing personal information. qb_appcert.jpg


Peachtree

* Peachtree users must simply open their leave their Peachtree company file open during Setup Wizard process.


FreshBooks

* FreshBooks users will be prompted to allow CollectPro access to your FreshBooks account. You must have FreshBooks API enabled to proceed. To enable the API: 1. Log in to your FreshBooks account 2. Click the MyAccount link in the upper left corner of the page. 3. Click the FreshBooks API tab 4. Check the “Enable API” box. (See screenshot below) freshbooksapi.jpg



5. You will input your Activation Code that you received during purchase in Step 1 of the Setup Wizard. 6. From here, just follow the easy steps in the Setup Wizard and you are ready to begin using CollectPro!
